Shine the Light (November's Domestic Violence Awareness Month)
We’re excited to invite you to participate in the Shine the Light campaign this November, aimed at raising awareness about domestic violence and supporting survivors in our community. By lighting up your building, storefront, or home in purple—the color of domestic violence awareness—you can help bring attention to this critical issue.
How to Participate:
Change Your Exterior Lights: Replace porch or signage lights with purple bulbs.
Illuminate Your Building: Use purple spotlights to highlight your building or structures.
Display Purple Décor: Use purple lights, ribbons, or decorations in windows and doors.
As a valued community partner who participates in the Shine the Light campaign, we will ensure to feature your business on our social media channels, highlighting your support!
Additionally, we encourage you to spread the word by:
Sharing the campaign on your social media using #ShineTheLight and tagging @womensintervalhome.
Including campaign details in your newsletters or emails.
Displaying posters or flyers in your business or organization.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to Josephine at josephine@womensintervalhome.com.
Thank you for helping us shine a light on domestic violence!
